Built in 1924, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is a Seattle legend that offers an imperial aesthetic, and the perfect place for a celebratory staycation! To kick of my birthday festivities last month, my girlfriends and I booked one of their recently renovated corner suites for the ultimate sleepover with a major royal vibe. Necessary, don’t you think? We enjoyed it so much that I decided to create an ‘official’ Fairmont Olympic Hotel Seattle Review. So make sure to save, share, pin, etc. for future festivity planning!
This post is in partnership with Fairmont Olympic Hotel Seattle
Fairmont Olympic Hotel Seattle
Nestled in the heart of the city and within walking distance to amazing restaurants, cafes, shopping, museums, etc., the Fairmont Olympic Hotel has its locale dialed in for a girlfriend getaway.
It’s also quite possible to stay on property and enjoy the long list of experiences and amenities like in-room dining, afternoon tea, the spa, or indoor pool.

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is warm and inviting, yet elevated. The vibe is upscale – but not in a stuffy way. You feel at home…as if you lived in a palace. Which after staying there, feels incredibly comfortable. Something I could get quite used to.
It was also rated No. 1 best hotel in Seattle by the U.S. News and World Report for 2018…so I’m obviously not the only fan. It’s kind of a big deal.
Hotel Location
Since the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is centrally located downtown Seattle it’s a short walk or Uber to everything in the city. It’s also super close to the airport, train and cruise terminals.
Address: 411 University Street, Seattle, Washington, United States 98101

Dining
The Fairmont Olympic Hotel has five dining options on property with a variety in aesthetic and taste. A little something for everyone.
From the elegant and ornate grandeur of The Georgian with its Palladian windows and spectacular chandeliers; to the warm oak paneling and pub-style setting of Shuckers featuring fresh local seafood and oyster bar, The Fairmont Olympic Hotel boasts an array of Seattle’s best restaurants that appeal to every mood and aesthetic.
Enjoy award winning menus that showcase fresh local seafood paired with classic preparations and impeccable service. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel offers Seattle dining that’s always exceptional.
*Please note that as of January 7th, in addition to lunch and dinner, breakfast and bar services will also be served in Shuckers restaurant as The Georgian and The Terrace will be closed for renovations through June 2020. During this time savory breakfast items and a great cup of coffee are also available at our Espresso Bar, 4th Ave located in our lower lobby. As always, our In-Room-Dining menu will be available for your convenience in room. In addition, our concierge team is always available for recommendations on where to dine during your stay.
The In-Room Dining
We really wanted to enjoy the suite so we opted for in-room dining and ordered nearly everything on the menu (which is available 24 hours a day, btw)! So I cannot recommend this enough. We absolutely loved it.

Rooms
The Fairmont Olympic Hotel has 450 luxurious guest rooms with a range in sizes and amenities. As I mentioned we stayed in the 1250 sq. ft. Corner Suite with a partial city view, featuring a large separate bedroom with a King bed, a dressing area, two large marble bathrooms and a kitchenette. In addition, the spacious living room included two oversized wing chairs, a modern sleeper-sofa, Murphy bed (fun, right?!) and a dining table that seats up to four guests.

Things To Do In The Area
I’m going to narrow this one down. Definitely check out my Seattle Travel Guide for a list of suggestions, but if you’re in the mood to CELEBRATE, I would encourage you to visit Chateau Ste Michelle in Woodinville (a 30 min Uber) and enjoy one of their Winery Experiences.
