Santa Rosa surprised us. Located just 55 miles north of San Francisco, you’ll find a small town that is anything but regular. It feels quiet and unassuming, yet the culture is incredibly vibrant, full of world-class wineries, craft breweries, farm-to-table cuisine and an active scene fit for any enthusiast.
We had the opportunity of exploring Santa Rosa and the nearby Redwoods Forests and Sonoma Coast last month which I’ll be sharing in subsequent posts. But first, and most importantly – I wanted to highlight where to stay in Santa Rosa.
Where To Stay In Santa Rosa
If you’re planning an upcoming visit to Sonoma County, I recommend staying at the Flamingo Conference Resort and Spa, which was established by Hollywood as the ‘place to stay north of the Bay,’ frequented by movie stars and socialites since 1959. Today the Flamingo stays true to their roots with a glamorous ambiance of a 1950’s resort with modern amenities.
The family and pet-friendly resort offers spacious suites, an on-site restaurant, walking paths and gardens, an Olympic-sized pool and access to a 10,000 sq ft. health club, 3,000 sq ft. spa, hot yoga and cycling classes.
It’s the ultimate resort for all ages and right in the heart of Santa Rosa, close to dining, shopping and outdoor activities.
You can check out more photos and book your stay via the Flamingo Conference Resort and Spa website!
