Last week I gave you a sneak peak into the Seattle Showhouse, which is Seattle’s first-ever residential home designed and decorated entirely online…in less than 2 weeks.
I was invited to the VIP Preview Party on Thursday and was so smitten with the gorgeous decor that I may have taken like 50+ photos! Since today is the official launch of the partnerships between ATG Stores, Decorist.com and Porch.com, I felt the need to share the inside scoop and how it can make your life easier.
So here’s a (really quick) overview on the new service being offered via thehousista.com & an example of it being used:
Let’s say you would like to remodel your kitchen, have spent countless hours submerged in Pinterest, yet have no idea how to start the project, let alone complete it. Who has time for that, right?
Enter ATGStores.com and their brand new one-stop-shop service that allows you to handle a project from concept to completion – on a realistic budget.
How does this magic happen? They brought on Decorist.com which is the first personalized, software-based home design marketplace (read: virtual interior designers). Their job is to design the remodel for you online, using ATG Stores furnishings, lighting, etc. per your style at a price-point that makes sense (like for people who have kids, swim lessons, college funds, etc.). They get life, which makes things a whole lot easier.
…and to complete the project, ATG Stores has partnered with Porch.com, the Seattle-based home services marketplace which matches you up with quality, local professionals to install everything! Porch.com is the exclusive in-store resource for 1,700 Lowe’s home improvement stores.
So the easiest way to design a home, upgrade a room, make your dream decor a reality → ATGStores.com. PLUS, their HQ is in Kirkland, WA – and you know I love a good PNW company. :)
Back to the Seattle Showhouse…this was a way for all 3 companies to showcase their partnership and how their services work together to create a beautiful, curated home in a short time frame.
Designers had less than two weeks to shop for furnishings, design layouts for the rooms, style the home and source additional décor elements by Seattle artisans to add local flair – and they did it all without stepping foot inside the home until it was time to complete the transformation.
Incredible, right? So now for the photos. I was going to use the stunning photos they provided in the media kit…but then thought, what about the 50+ photos I took?! Plus, it’s kinda fun to see my perspective (I hope!), so here are the narrowed down selection of my favorites that have been living excitedly in my iPhone…
Let’s start with my favorite room – The Girl’s Bedroom – by Decorist Classic Designer, Katja O’Brien
‘A Stylish, timeless room to dream in…’
Then the Boy’s Room – by Melissa Schenck – Decorist Classic Designer
‘A space that was well designed and full of character…’
Followed by the Master Bedroom – by Alexa Hampton – ATGStores.com Honorary Chairperson (fyi she’s a design icon)
‘Clean lines, a palpable sense of comfort, and a neutral palette with pops of red that keep the eye entertained…’
Another favorite of mine was the Office – by Pulp Design Studios – Decorist Elite Designers
‘An eclectic and lived-in feel…The result is a functional home office that exudes fearless style.’
And I adored the pops of pink in the Family Room – by Massucco Warner Miller – Decorist Celebrity Designers
‘Intended as a cozy space to watch TV, read, and hang out…’
Onto the open Living/Dining Room – by Brian Paquette – Decorist Celebrity Designer
‘A study in neutrals and shape was the inspiration..’
Then the beautiful Kitchen – by Ashley Redmond – Decorist Elite Designer
‘Modern but warm feel and compliments the other designs of the house…’
And the Foyer – by Lindhesse Design – Decorist Elite Designer
‘Gateway to the home…a playful but warm tone for the rest of the house.’
Oh and the deck and view…#YesPlease
Please note: This is a remodel for a real ATGStores.com customer and family. I did not take photos of the closets (even though I know you all wanted to see those!), out of respect for their privacy and personal belongings.
Which room was your favorite? Are you feeling inspired? Honestly, I really want to go wallpaper my entire house. Those designs had me swooning! I see an ATG Stores project in my near future. ♥
Thank you, ATG Stores, for including me as one of your VIP’s – and for the gorgeous gift box full of PNW goodies including a Glassybaby to add to my collection! ♥
