Seattle Green Circle Salons
Lancer & Lace, located in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, is part of the Green Circle Salons network. A specialized recycling and repurposing program.
This ensures that hair, foils, color tubes, plastics, papers, and chemicals are diverted out of our landfills and water systems, which is 90-95% of our Salon’s waste. For example, hair can be used to help clean up oil spills, as a gardening tool, as well as a natural fertilizer as it decomposes. We are proud to be a part of this green initiative to revolutionize the industry.
$2.00 from your visit contributes to the success of this program. Together, we are reducing the carbon footprint and having a great salon experience.
The impact that we have is KEEPING PEOPLE AND THE PLANET BEAUTIFUL!
– Lancer & Lace
Obviously I’m on board with their mission (as should all of you!), and decided to try out one of their beauty services – eyelash extensions (which happen to be my favorite beauty #travelhack).
You can opt for Classic or Volume lashes…and the best part – they are all PETA certified, cruelty free and vegan.
I went for the Classic fill by co-founder and esthetician, Katie Rainwater. She had them done from start to finish in an hour. Record timing and they look flawless.
And let’s talk about this eyeliner.
Developed by friends of Lancer & Lace, BeautyGarde has an entire oil-free line safe for faux lashes. I’m also wearing the oil-free liquid eyeliner which is water-based, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, non-toxic, fragrance-free, easy-to-remove, and gluten-free!
You can pick it up at the Lancer & Lace Salon. ♥
For more goodness, Lancer & Lace developed their own lash cleanser – to be used daily. Yes, you should be cleaning your lashes every single day. But only with safe products like this cleanser.
Now for their other services.
In addition to eyelash extensions, Lancer & Lace also offers vegan brow/lash tinting, facial and body waxing and a full hair menu. Their stylists also specialize in color, cut, style, conditioning treatments and tape-in extensions.
I haven’t had the opportunity of enjoying their hair services as of yet, but a few of my friends have – @mckennaherzog and @seaofsanctuary and they look so GORGEOUS!
On the Lancer & Lace website, you’ll also find a bio for each of their artists detailing their specialty – so pick your flavor and book!
And lastly – if you saw my recent Instagram post, I offered a giveaway for anyone that could name the origin of the name ‘Lancer & Lace.’ Thanks to Google everyone was correct (haha!) → Named after the Secret Service handles for the iconic beauty of Jackie Onassis and the awe inspiring John F. Kennedy.
So I urge you to check out Lancer & Lace, and support a Seattle Green Circle Salon! In addition, you can find the full service + price menu and book an appointment on their website.
