Coffee shops have become one of the most ‘gram-worthy spots on the feed, and being that I’m from the notorious bean-roasting capital of the world, it felt very natural to write a post featuring the best coffee shops in Seattle. And who better to ask than my friends and fellow Seattle bloggers since they spend much of their content creation sipping lavender lattes and fair-trade espressos.
I basically asked them – what’s your favorite coffee shop and why (this is important!). They really got into it providing aesthetic, menu variety, location and of course…brew quality.
So here you go – and make sure to pin the image at the end of the post to save for reference!
Seattle Blogger Recommended Coffee Shops
I actually can’t drink lactose (lattes) anymore and their drip coffee is so good and smooth that I would rather have that now than a nut milk latte It’s also a great atmosphere to sit and have your morning coffee in. And the pastries are delicious!!
– Scotch And Stilletos
Great pastry and a wonderful neighborhood vibe.
We love the free airplane cookies for kids and their drinks/pastries are yummy!
Not only is their mocha the best in Seattle, they give out free slices of chocolate cake EVERY DAY and give a huge portion of their sales towards ending human trafficking. Obsessed.
They have the best homemade cashew coconut milk and homemade caramel ever.

They make a Creme Brulee (or Burnt Creme) Latte that has been my favorite since I was around 18 years old (that is a long time now)! They are one of the oldest Espresso bars in town, and have a history of famous folks stopping by to try their coffee!
This one is right next to the Bill and Melinda Gates Visitors Foundation, and across from the Seattle Center. They make something called a Cardamon Latte that is my new favorite. They make their own syrup for this and add some orange peel. It sounds strange, but I thought it was perfection. I don’t like my coffee too sweet, and this one had a smooth flavor, a bit of sweetness, but the coffee flavor really came through. They also make a lavender one, but I like the Cardamon latte too much to try anything else.
The pastries are amazing (they bake at the West Seattle location for their other locations. We got our macarons for our wedding from Fresh Flours this past summer!), the coffee and espresso delicious (they have Stumptown and a rotating local coffee) and a lovely space both indoors and out. The outside patio is perfect for warmer days! It’s such a great addition to the Southern end of West Seattle/White Center!
It has adorable coffee art and you can even get it on other drinks like matcha if you’re not a coffee drinker :)
Ravenna Third Place Books
The bookstore makes for a cozy atmosphere and whether the weather is sunny or rainy, I always leave feeling refreshed and inspired.
They rotate roasters, the space is to die for, and the music vibe is great.

Gluten Free AND vegan.
Super cute Parisian coffee shop and bakery (with amazing petit gateaus). Super cute interior (Instagram friendly!) and great location that gives you the Seattle vibe without being in an overly populated part of Seattle.
Great vibe, awesome and friendly staff, and a really good cup of just about everything!
Great coffee, and the perfect ambiance of Elliott Bay Bookstore to page through a book whilst sipping an extra-foamy latte?! Yes please!
They’re right by the market and make a mean cappuccino.
They make really delicious espresso drinks. Plus the rotating iced tea flavors are a nice alternative.
Donuts and coffeeeeee!
Aside from the thoughtfully curated coffee selection, there is a super cute Bernese dog that hangs out at the shop.
I really loved the atmosphere, the space is so grammable and their fruit boards and food are delicious. They have amazing avocado toast…plus matcha and mimosas!

Cote has made a delicious business for our little community. She supports POC’s and makes a damn fine cup of coffee. She partners with local roasters, bakeries and other foodies to get local foods and drinks on to the hands of Seattleites at a price everyone can afford.
They have an awesome vibe and their cold brew with chocolate milk is delicious!
Conduit coffee and the best in-house made pastries.
They literally have the best latte in town.
The interior is super cute, the staff are very friendly, and they make a mean cappuccino and matcha latte. It’s also a good place to get some work done.
Because of their slow bar concept (come in and have a deconstructed latte, it’s amazing) and is women-owned (Chelsy the owner rocks).

It has tons of space to meetup with friends and I can have a fab hot chocolate while sipping coffee or wine! Oh and don’t even get me started on their chocolate confections!
Because the atmosphere is friendly and their sandwiches are amazing.
Joe Bar
Dog friendly, amazing crepes, friendly service, beautiful shop..I could go on and on!

It’s a fun, quirky, eclectic shop owned by two locals. Their coffee is delicious, as is their tea and toast (and other desserts – including gluten free options). Downstairs is a fun art vibe, and often you’ll hear KEXP played. Upstairs is a quiet space with tables, couches, and mis-matched chairs. The owners are also staples in the community and host local artists, open-mic nights, game nights and more. They have a conference area and allow groups to book it (or upstairs) for free for community meetings. It’s also great for co-working and has super fast internet. Plus, the mural is on the side of the building!
Tucked beneath the fish market near the gum wall. Better espresso than that other Big Pike Place coffee stop, and hardly ever busy!
I love the overall atmosphere and the unique experience it offers.
They make the best turmeric lattes and matcha lattes.
Seattle Bloggers are my favorite resource for finding the best coffee shops (it’s our office half the time!), so I definitely appreciate this comprehensive list with super specific reasons as to why they love these shops.
