The Rain City Box arrived on my doorstep last week and I was eager to dive in and explore the goods…
Perfectly packaged, the Rain City Box might be my new favorite piece of mail. Inspired by all things PNW, this monthly subscription features local businesses in Seattle {and the surrounding region}. It is a brilliant way to learn more about the beautiful upper left USA!
The September ‘theme’ was Seahawks, which is perfect since ‘Blue and Green’ season has officially arrived.
The first item I pulled out was a Snapback by Hashtag Filthy, a clothing accessories line from Spokane, WA. The #Filthy message is to push the culture of hip hop through music and branding. Here’s their Seahawks-inspired look…
This is my first ‘snapback’ and I’m pretty excited – what do you think? I was definitely impressed by the quality, and the colors are for sure on point.
The next item in the Rain City Box was a T-Shirt by Jeffrey Veregge, a local Native American artist and writer…
I love that Veregge‘s design is uniquely creative with a vintage feel. It stands out from the typical ‘Hawks’ gear.
Also included in the box was a postcard with one of Veregge‘s designs…
FYI, I will not be mailing this to anyone…definitely keeping it for myself :) Veregge has some pretty incredible talent, don’t you agree?
The next Rain City Box goodie was a pair of Townie Shades, born and raised in Seattle, WA…
Check out the Seattle Skyline…I’m kinda obsessed…
The last item in the Rain City Box was a necklace by Bricks N Pieces, an Etsy shop based out of Seattle, WA.
Bricks N Pieces creates jewelry from new and re-purposed Legos!
I decided I had to share something from the Rain City Box…and my daughter was elated it matched her Russell Wilson jersey. :)
The Rain City Box made me feel good about the PNW. The creators of this region are uniquely magnificient and have a passion that resonates – I feel inspired to continue to shop local and support our beautiful evergreen state. ♥
