The Pacific Northwest is abundant with amazing outdoor opportunities – Cross-Country Skiing, Mountain Climbing, Backpacking…but I’m going to be real with you – my range of nature exploration typically involves snowman building, state park camping, and short trail excursions. I have two little girls ages 2 & 4, which mean all of our “rustic” adventures are family-friendly. With that said, I am always looking for outdoor “gear” that is, first and foremost, comfortable – but also durable, long-lasting, and won’t break the bank.
Northside USA is that brand. They have great fashion-forward footwear that are meant to be played in. Their tagline “Just For Fun,” is perfect…I need shoes that I can live in…be able to enjoy the little things with my family without the burden of a high price tag. I had a chance to “play” in the Northside “Bishop,” an ADORABLE Grey Winter Boot! First of all, I’m OBSESSED with the faux fur collar…definitely my favorite part of the boot. It paid perfect compliment to the intricate stitching and design that showed detail was not to be missed. The icing on the cake was how warm my feet stayed, thanks to the Nor-Foam Insulation. Definitely felt comfortable tromping around on a stormy PNW day and am crossing my fingers for some snow so I have an excuse to go out and play some more!
