This is it. I made it. For months I have been training for the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. I have laced up my Brooks 5 days/week to prove to myself that I can actually survive this. I am a different person than I once was. I am strong, I am capable and I will show my daughters what their mommy is made of. ♥

To continue the excitement post race, the Seattle Mayor proclaimed next week ‘Brooks Week of Run Happy,‘ hosting activities for all ages around the city to encourage being active and running!

Come watch the nation’s fastest high school runners go head-to-head at Shoreline Stadium. Will this talented group of athletes push one another to take down their already outstanding PRs?
