Although it seems we’re always on the go, we’re finally reunited with familiar routines with the start of school.
In between scheduling flights and recapping adventures, I have to keep up with school drop off/pick up, volunteering and soccer practice. I’ve shared this mom hack before and I’ll say it again >>> meal prep. But first, let me preface – the kitchen is not my comfort zone. I don’t love to cook, it kinda stresses me out and seems way too time consuming. Insert mom hacks. Make the prep part of the meal that they have to assemble. #momwin
A perfect example is a yogurt bar for breakfast or after school. Put a few toppings out (berries, granola, peanut butter, honey) and let them create their own personalized yogurt bowl. It takes less than 5 minutes and allows the kids to be more independent (always the goal).
We love FAGE Total 0% because it’s easy to find at any grocery store, there’s no added sugar, it’s protein-rich, a good source of calcium, Non-GMO Project Verified and is gluten-free for our friends with allergies. I love the creamy texture paired with a touch of honey, while my girls prefer a dollop of berries.
Here’s a list of our favorite toppings for your yogurt bar inspo:
- Chopped Nuts
- Strawberries
- Blackberries
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Pineapple
- Mango
- Honey
- Peanut Butter
- Carob Chips
- Coconut
- Dried Fruit
- Granola
- Seeds
Cheers to an easy back to school transition for both you and your kids! #FAGEYourWay
