Invisalign is an amazing alternative to traditional metal braces to correct malocclusion (imperfect positioning of the teeth) and enhance aesthetics. 10 weeks ago my husband began an Invisalign treatment with Dr. Oleg, founder of 425 Dental in Issaquah, Washington. In this post I’ll be sharing an honest Invisalign Review, including our initial thoughts of the Invisalign process, along with a detailed breakdown of the cost, length of treatment and how to determine if you’re a good candidate!

Invisalign Review
What is Invisalign?
Well, an experienced invisalign near me says that Invisalign is a clear, aligner-based orthodontic treatment option for patients that would like to straighten their teeth or correct their bite without the use of conventional metal braces. Also, Invisalign aligners are removable and practically invisible, thus preventing food getting stuck during eating as would happen with metal braces. Being able to use clear trays hides the fact that you are going through orthodontic treatment and doesn’t interfere with your social life.
With 20 years of research, 900+ patents, the world’s largest 3D printing operation, and data from 6 million smiles, Invisalign is the world’s most advanced clear aligner. In fact, you can get the best ones from invisalign maple ridge.
Who is a Good Candidate for Invisalign?
According to https://www.360dentalcare.co.uk the treatment depends on the level of complexity and the position of your teeth, but most patients are great candidates for Invisalign.
If you would like to have the position of your teeth corrected and can commit to wearing clear trays throughout the day, except for when you eat, brush, and floss, then Invisalign would be a great method of treatment for you!
425 Dental also offers Invisalign Teen, an amazing alternative to wearing braces through socially developing years, also without the worry of breaking a bracket or losing a rubber band.

What are the Advantages of Invisalign?
Invisalign braces are virtually invisible, removable, comfortable, and affordable. There is no need to change bands or wires, which lessens the amount of visits you’ll make to the dentist. You can even use the trays to whiten your teeth during Invisalign treatment!
Treatment at 425 Dental takes an average of 6 months, though that will vary from case to case. Patients come for their Invisalign appointments every six to eight weeks. Most appointments last less than 30 minutes. They pride themselves on being flexible with appointment frequencies and work around their patients’ schedule.
425 Dental now offers their Invisalign patients access to the iTero® digital scanner, which provides quick and painless impressions without the inconvenience and discomfort of the gooey impression molds frequently still used at other dental practices. The digital scan is included as part of their free consultation and displays a patient’s potential before and after results within minutes. This helps patients quickly visualize what the end product will look like following their Invisalign treatment, which they’ve found to be invaluable.

How Much Does it Cost?
425 Dental offers complimentary consultations where they’ll propose the best treatment plan to fit your needs. Invisalign with Dr. Oleg starts at $3,999 and includes the following:
- Initial consult
- X-rays
- Photos
- All visits
- All Invisalign treatment
- Scanning/impressions
- Teeth whitening
- Any necessary corrections
- Retainers
There are many factors that determine the cost of your Invisalign treatment: how extensive the issues are that you want corrected, how long your treatment plan will last, and the specific treatment details prescribed by Dr. Oleg
425 Dental offers in-house payment plans with no finance charges for up to a year. Longer payment plans available with minimal finance fees.
If your dental insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you may also qualify for Invisalign. Talk to your insurance provider to determine the extent of coverage for your treatment.
You can also use the pre-tax dollars in your flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) toward Invisalign treatment.
How Long Do You Have To Wear Invisalign?
Treatment at 425 Dental takes an average of 6 months, though that will vary from case to case. Patients come for their Invisalign appointments every six to eight weeks, where they’ll receive a new set of aligners. Most appointments last less than 30 minutes. In addition, 425 Dental prides themselves on being flexible with appointment frequencies and work around their patients’ schedule. For those who live long distance, are in the military or travel often, virtual appointments are also available.
What Happens After the Invisalign Treatment?
When treatment is completed, Dr. Oleg, Dr. Nikole or Dr. Sakai will discuss different options of retaining the corrected tooth position with the patients. Options include clear trays that can be worn at night or a retention device that can be attached to the back of the lower teeth. Retention is very important once any orthodontic treatment is done, as teeth have a tendency to move back to their original position.
Do You Wear the Invisalign Trays All Day?
Dr. Oleg recommends you wear the Invisalign trays 22 hours a day. You can can eat, drink and sleep in them.
Are There Things To Avoid with Invisalign?
During the Invisalign treatment avoid gum, curry, turmeric and cigars to prevent discoloration of your trays. Coffee and wine are okay! Regardless, it’s always important to brush your teeth and liners after eating. And remember teeth whitening is included with all Invisalign treatments at 425 Dental.
How Do You Clean the Invisalign Trays?
You’ll rinse your aligners every night and brush them gently with your toothbrush to keep them fresh and clean. Invisalign also has a cleaning system to keep your aligners clear which includes special cleaning crystals that remove plaque in as little as 15 minutes. The cleaning system contains a cleaning tub + 50 packets of cleaning crystals.
425 Dental also includes a slim Invisalign case with their treatment protocol, keeping your aligner safe and clean when not in use.
Is Invisalign Painful?
You’ll notice sensitivity for the first 4-7 days, which will quickly taper off. You can take Tylenol if needed.
Invisalign treatment moves your teeth by applying gentle, constant force which can be described as feeling “pressure.” This means your Invisalign aligners are working! If discomfort persists, discuss with your doctor.
Invisalign Vs Braces
Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign does not use metal brackets or wires that could cause irritation to your mouth. And Invisalign allows you to view your virtual final results and treatment plan before you start your treatment, so that you can preview how your straight teeth will look once your treatment is complete.

Does Invisalign Work?
About 10 months ago I decided to do Invisalign to correct some spacing and rotation problems with my teeth. Both vanity and bite problems factored into the decision. Wow, I cannot believe the difference in my appearance and bite! I am thrilled with the results and appreciative that Dr Oleg worked with me on a solution that fit my needs. I highly recommend the practice for both general and cosmetic needs.” – Phil C., 425 Dental Patient
Only 35% of adults have well-aligned front teeth, which means there’s an obvious need for correction, both for gum wellness and self-confidence for the majority of the population.
With that said, over 6 million people worldwide have been treated with Invisalign with a 96% satisfaction rate, which proves the method really does work.

Personal Review
My husband had his consult with Dr. Oleg 10 weeks ago which confirmed he was a candidate due to malocclusion and gum recession. He was fitted for the Invisalign trays in-office and returned 4 weeks later to begin the treatment. He is scheduled to return every 6 weeks to monitor the progress and pick up the next set of trays.
From his perspective, the only routine adjustment was ensuring he brushed after every meal (even while at work), but after the first week, it felt like second-nature. He’s had only mild discomfort the first couple of days when transitioning to new trays, and finds it to be WAY more manageable than dealing with metal braces as a kid.
From my perspective, as his spouse, honestly I don’t even notice it. Even in photos I still find it nearly impossible to detect. More than anything, I’m excited for him to feel confident in his smile again.
Stay tuned as I’ll be sure to share a continuation of his Invisalign journey.
