I’m Living My Passion.

Mom / Wife / Blogger – so this is me.  I feel blessed that I get to call this beautiful life all mine.  No, it’s not easy, I could use more sleep, less worry, more money, less laundry, etc. – but I love it and I am passionate about it.  THIS is exactly the philosophy behind LYP – Love Your Place.  Live Your Passion.  It’s an inspiring messaging brand (based out of the PNW) that encourages people to embrace their life – enjoy, explore and share their experiences.

I had the opportunity of meeting one of the founders, Alan Aldous, recently at a SUP competition.  I kept hearing people ask – what is LYP?  And he would say – whatever you want it to be.  He mentioned how he thought my blog is a great example – I’m living my passion of writing and sharing my experiences though Obsessed by Portia.  He’s right, I am, and regardless of the ‘stress’ that comes along with putting yourself out there – it’s all worth it – going outside my comfort zone and sharing what I love, whether it be fitness, fashion or my love for the PNW. ♥

To share their message, LYP created a clothing line featuring active passions such as SUP, Cycling, and Skiing.  I chose the Yoga t-shirt, as you know I love the practice and enjoy sharing my yoga experiences on the blog.

LYP also carries trucker hats…because, well, they’re cool, obviously.

And my favorite item…LYP flags that people use to show where they are living their passion.
