A beauty service that resembles Uber? Yep – I just died and went to dolled up heaven. Polished is a brand new onsite beauty service that just launched in the greater Seattle area. You can book a haircut, blowout, manicure or pedicure and a Polished Pro will come to you – your house, work, hotel, wherever you need them to be. It’s the perfect balance between convenience and luxury.

Obviously I was eager to try Polished and see how it measured up to just going to a salon. So in preparation for Jenny Keller’s Back To School party a few week’s ago, I booked a blowout appointment.
Here’s the deal…I have 2 littles under the age of 6. Getting to a salon sans kiddos is near to impossible. So the fact that a professional stylist could come to my house, do my hair in my living room – done.

My Polished Pro was Stephanie and she did a killer job. She showed up early, was ready to go as soon as she walked in the door and was ultra personable. And besides giving me a superb blowout, the cherry on top was offering to style my daughter’s hair, too, which turned out DARLING.
