A friend of mine recently switched her diet to Vegan and it has been incredible to watch her transformation! In addition to losing 7 lbs in 30 day days, she looks and feels rejuvenated. Of course, I get all sorts of excited when anyone I know goes head first into veggie-ville. I am currently a Pescatarian, meaning I refrain from meat (chicken, beef, pork, etc.) but still include seafood and (limited) dairy in my diet. As with all other areas in my life, I like to mix things up and have practiced a Vegan diet in the past – absolutely loving how pure I felt inside and out. At this point in my life, I’m pretty content with my diet, but honestly I am always aiming to modify and improve as I feel necessary. So who knows…I may revisit the Vegan life down the road.
