It’s Fall Wardrobe season! With layers, denim, knits and booties front and center. To create a fresh, rotating capsule closet, I love Haverdash, a clothing rental subscription with unlimited access to hundreds of styles for just $59/month. In this post, I’ll share the three pieces that came in my last shipment, and how I incorporate them into my trip planning and Fall travel wardrobe.
This post is in partnership with Haverdash, but as always, all opinions are my own.

Fall Travel Wardrobe
First of all, let’s break it down. When planning a trip, you need a travel capsule of a few pieces you really love and that bring you serious joy. TRY EVERYTHING ON and if you wouldn’t wear it that very second, do not pack it. I am so over over-packing. I did it for years and all it did was create chaos in my suitcase paired with a heavy dose of overwhelm. We have no time for this. Let’s make it easy, k?
With the current season in mind, we’re craving comfort, texture and simple pieces that also feel a bit moody. What I love about Haverdash is that I can rent 3 pieces that are in-season, wear a few times and send back! It allows me to extend my wardrobe, play with different looks and stay on a budget.
So here’s what you do, subscribe to Haverdash, browse the collection, add at least 8 items to your ‘closet,’ and then 3 will ship right away! When they arrive mix and match with your current Fall faves to create a fresh and versatile rotating closet!
Fall Travel Wardrobe Essentials
Fitted Sweater
For a super flattering fit and to show off your curves (yassss!), add at least one fitted sweater or cropped cardigan to your capsule wardrobe this season. Pairs well with high waisted denim and some custom lapel pins – which we LOVE.

Wide Brim Wool Hat
One of the most popular accessories of the season, and an essential in your travel wardrobe, is a wide brim wool hat. Truth be told, I pack this hat on every trip, year-round. It elevates the look, extends your hairstyle and adds a little, edge, ya know?

High-Waisted Denim
The high-waisted denim trend is back and I am SO HERE FOR THIS! Comfortable and flattering, this is the most versatile piece in your closet. Dress up or down, flare or skinny, find your favorite fit and thrive, girlfriend!

Backpack
Hands-free is in, my friends. A lightweight, stylish backpack is your go-to for all the Fall festivities! And super travel friendly.

Booties
Booties go with literally everything and I have the photo below to prove it. They’re fun, comfortable and versatile. I’ll often just pack a pair of black booties and a pair of running shoes for a trip and mix and match with outfits.

T-Shirt Dress
The t-shirt dress is cuuuuuute! Wear it loose, bring it in with a belt or even wear it open with jeans and a tank. It’s an easy way to try a fun Fall fashion trend without going overboard.

Puffer Coat
Girlfriend get yourself a puffer coat already. They’re insanely warm and will give you all those cozy season vibes while you’re out there exploring this season. Who cares if it doesn’t fit in your suitcase – wear it on the plane, train or in the car…and thank me later.

Cozy Knit
A cozy pastel knit is necessary this season. Super feminine, insanely soft and let’s be honest, eye-catching. Wear it and turn those heads, darling.
