My girlfriends and I made the chunky knit blankets (something I always drool over on Instagram but never want to pay the hefty price tag!). Guess what? You too can actually make one for yourself. And I’m telling you…if I can do it, so can you.
I brought my girls along too and they made darling wood signs with heaps of glitter. I heard one of them say “Oh no, I made a mess.” And the project leader said, “It’s art, it’s supposed to be messy… You’re doing it exactly right.” (Insert momma heart crying).
I can’t speak highly enough of AR Workshop Mill Creek and their gift of bringing people together for a shared experience full of creativity, laughter and honestly, pride. Everyone was so impressed with their final projects. It was pretty fantastic to witness. Marie Kondo would definitely be proud of the joy felt in the room.
