Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos, certainly one of the most well-known Greek islands, kicks it into high gear late June to early September with their largest club parties, live music, DJs and events. For the ultimate beach party, hit up Super Paradise Beach Club, followed by Scorpios, Kalua Beach Bar, Pasaji, SantAnna and Jackie O. The best dance clubs are Astra and Cavo Paradiso.
Your best bet for getting around town is the local buses. They transport you from the beaches and nightclubs to Mykonos Town. Plus they’re easy to use and cheap!
South Beach, Miami
South Beach in Miami is one of the hottest summer beach party destinations in the United States where you’ll find the ultimate rooftop pool party at 1 Hotel, or get a day pass at The Confidante and check out their new ‘floatie-on-demand’ menu. So splurge on a cabana at The Mondrian or go low-key hipster at The Freehand, Miami’s first upscale hostel.
Summer is by far the most popular season to visit South Beach. So book early and be prepared for packed clubs and bars.
With that said, Spring Break is a close runner up with slightly lower temps but that same nightclub pulse South Beach is known for.
Ayia Napa, Cyprus
Located on the southeast coast of Cyprus, Ayia Napa is a beautiful seaside town known for their beach soiree scene in the Mediterranean. With more than fifty bars and ten nightclubs, Ayia Napa is one of the most popular Summer beach party destinations, especially for the millenial Western European crowd.
Kandi Fest at the Dock is certainly the place you’ll want to be on Friday nights in June, July and August. It’s located next to Waterworld Waterpark in the Makronissos area. Tickets include a 3 hour open bar, weekly guest performances and a free after-party.
The one and only beach party is BCL with live music that often sells out – so make sure to buy tickets ahead of time.

Located in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Copacabana Beach is home to a nonstop party with a dreamy jungle-covered mountain backdrop. Thousands of lanterns light the beach as DJs, fire-eaters, jugglers and fireworks entertain the uninhibited crowd.

Cala Jondal, Ibiza
Another summer party hot spot is Cala Jondal in Ibiza, Spain, offering a day-to-night beach club experience. Another favorite among the rich and famous is the Blue Marlin, where they provide a water taxi service to the luxury yachts for their more prestigious guests. They also have international DJs and a vibe that goes from chill to electric as the sun sets.
