We’re continuing our Whistler series and it’s all about food. Really, really good food. From the resorts, to the spas, to the mountains – Whistler breathes luxury and the restaurants are no exception. Whether you go to Whistler for adventure or escape, there’s one thing we can all agree on – the food is absolutely amazing. With chef’s from around the world, there’s a unique culinary experience worthy of any bucket list. If you are a foodie – go to Whistler. And here is where you should eat:
Breakfast // Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille
Located inside the Whistler Hilton (our preferred hotel), the Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille offers a full buffet, allowing everyone in the family to fill up their plates with everything from waffles, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, etc. Or you can opt for the full menu (Monte Cristo Brioche, Tomato Avocado Benedict, and other yummy goodness). Either way, picky eaters are welcome! ♥
And this kid…she might be a blogger’s daughter (lol!). She insisted this be included :) #YoureWelcomeStarbucks
So add the Cinnamon Bear Grille to your breakfast itinerary when in Whistler (inside the Hilton, right next to the Gondola!).
Lunch // The Green Moustache
With Whistler’s active lifestyle, there’s a plethora of restaurants that offer healthy fare, but our top lunch pick was The Green Moustache Organic Juice + Live Food Bar. Named the Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Whistler, it holds true to it’s title. They bring ‘fast food’ to a whole new level with a clean, nutritious menu. I recommend the Buddha Bowl paired with a Magnum Smoothie!
Oh and their Raw Glow Chocolates…you need these in your life. Trust me. ♥
So do yourself a favor on vacation – eat at the Green Moustache. Your body (and taste buds) will thank you. ♥
Dinner // The Old Spaghetti Factory
Traveling as a family, dinner is the most challenging meal by far. The kid’s are exhausted (we are exhausted!), and patience is thin, yet our dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory deemed pure success. As I looked around, it was obvious this is the go-to spot if you have kids. Their staff was equipped with crayons and smiles and were gracious with our busy little ones. Bonus – the food was fantastic at a fair price!
And the kid’s menu includes dessert…so yeah, #LittlesApproved.
With 5 days in Whistler, we had an opportunity to try several restaurants, and these are our Top 3 Family-Friendly picks. I hope this inspires you to plan a vacation to the Village – I know traveling with kids is far from easy, but the sooner you expose them to it – the easier it will be for years to come! If you need advice on where to stay, go HERE, or how to entertain the kid’s go HERE.
And stay tuned because we did something a little different on this trip – went on a Date Night! Find out the details in the next post! ♥
