The roots of creativity in Nashville, Tennessee go beyond the music. Whether you’re on Broadway, in 12 South or The Gulch, you’ll find pockets of street art in the form of complex murals by incredibly well-known nomadic artists.
On my recent trip to Music City I found 7 pretty Nashville murals – perfect for the ‘gram! My advice – shoot for early mornings and mid-week if possible. Believe it or not, drive by on a Saturday afternoon and you’ll likely see a line around the block.
I’ve included the EXACT locations for each of these murals – so make sure to pin the image at the end of this post for reference when planning your trip to Nashville!
Draper James – Nashville
12 South Neighborhood
2608 12th Avenue South Nashville, TN 37204
This gorgeous aqua and white striped wall is located on the right side of the store in the alley. They often decorate it with balloons and flowers for store events – you can follow them on Facebook to stay up to date!

I Believe In Nashville
12 South Neighborhood
2702 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204
Right across from the Draper James mural is this iconic wall! Created by Adrien Saporiti.
You can also find a second “I Believe In Nashville” mural at Marathon Music Works – 1402 Clinton St., Nashville TN 37203.

What Lifts You
The Gulch Neighborhood
302 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203
This 60 foot high design is the largest “What Lifts You” mural Kelsey Montague has created thus far. It is one of, if not THE MOST, popular murals in Nashville. There’s also a mini set of wings next to this one, which is a darling backdrop for babies and dogs…seriously, look it up. So cute.

Five Daughters Bakery
12 South Neighborhood
1110 Caruthers Ave, Nashville, TN 37204
The pastel themed palette for Nashville’s most famous donut shop offers the prettiest photo backdrop. And there are 3 murals to choose from!

Dream Hotel – Nashville
Downtown
210 4th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219
While this is not a wall mural, I still find the entrance to the brand new Dream Nashville hotel to be a pretty fantastic backdrop to frame a photo beautifully! And behind the hotel, you’ll find the famous Printer’s Alley, a piece of Nashville history not to be missed.

I love capturing fun photos in the cities I visit. So follow along on Instagram for more inspiration!
I hope this post helps you plan your next to trip to Nashville – and make sure to tag me if you visit one of these walls!
