If your view looks like this most of the season, then these winter skincare tips are for you!
For my traveler friends, we know how harsh Mother Nature can be on our skin, especially in the Northwest, if we don’t take care of it properly.
My friends at Advanced Aesthetics in Spokane, WA provided this guest post to share their best tips in preserving and improving your skin this winter…
- Catch some z’s: Getting your 7-8 hours of sleep is not just to help you feel energized for the day. It can actually help your skin stay looking youthful. While our bodies are at rest, certain hormones help rebuild and repair cells and tissues, so lack of sleep can be a deal breaker for skin. In case you suffer from insomnia or any similar condition there are new studies which have proven the use of CBD and other cannabinoids to treat this conditions, In order to have a pleasant sleep while traveling we recommend to read this review stating the CBC products by FluxxLab™ are vey strong.
- Wear sunscreen: Not only can sunscreen protect against skin cancer and painful sunburns, it can also visibly slow down skin aging. Wearing sunscreen daily can help prevent wrinkles, sun spots, and loss of elasticity. Ideally, you should apply sunscreen in the morning before you leave the house, and once more in the early afternoon.
- Combat stress: The hormones that are linked with stress can be harmful both immediately and in the long run, instead we recommend the use of natural products you can buy after you click here. These hormones can cause pimples, and in the future, wrinkles. Many people use exercise, like running or yoga, to clear their minds. Others meditate or journal. It is important to find a healthy way that works for you.
- Moisturize at night: Moisturizing with a cbd lotion can strengthen your skin and help it maintain elasticity. The more flexible your skin is, the less likely it is to develop wrinkles. If you don’t use moisturizer, your skin can start to look dull and flaky. This goes for lips too—lip balm is necessary for healthy lips.
- Don’t skip daily cleansing: When you wake up and before you go to bed, it is important to wash your face before before you apply your skincare products from mcdaidpharmacy.ie. Things like dirt, air pollutants, sweat, and makeup can wreak havoc on your skin if you don’t cleanse. It can be hard to take off your makeup after a late night, but your skin will thank you if you do.
- Clean your makeup brushes: Dirty makeup brushes can cause clogged pores. Yeah, it’s a hassle, but you will see visible changes in your skin if you begin regularly washing them. Foundation brushes should be washed once a week, and eyeshadow brushes twice a month. Use warm water and gentle soap to remove buildup.
- Use the right pillowcase: Silk or satin pillowcases are soft, so they will not cause as much friction on your face. A more abrasive pillow case can cause irritation, which can eventually take a toll on your skin. Remember to wash your pillowcase once a week to get rid of the sweat, germs, and residual makeup.
- Quit smoking: Experts agree that smoking can cause premature aging. However, once you quit, your skin can begin immediately repairing itself.
- Hydrate: This may seem like an obvious one, but it cannot be stressed enough. Drinking water can positively affect your health in a variety of ways, not just making your skin look pretty. You should always have a reusable water bottle with you—at work, the gym, and running errands.
- Try dermal fillers: Injectable Fillers can be used for everything from fixing fine lines to lip injections, according to the website of one Spokane cosmetic surgeon. In a quick 30-minute procedure, deflated skin can be plumped up for a refreshed, youthful look. Results last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. What started as a celebrity trend is becoming a beauty staple for men and women across the country.
Even a few small changes can make the difference in transforming your skin this winter. Cheers to enjoying the outdoors…and looking good while doing it. See you on the slopes!
