My husband is a really good dad. Growing up in a house full of boys (bless his mom!), he was absolutely positive he would have sons…but he didn’t. He had not one, but two giggly little blonde girls. And they forever changed him. I am convinced he was meant to be a father of girls. They live for the moment he walks in the door, eager to jump in his arms and soak up every ounce of ‘dad wisdom’ he throws at them – for some reason they listen to his word much more intently than mine (#themomstruggle). So in honor of Father’s Day, I decided it would be fun to interview my girls and have them share what they love about dad…

Mila (Age 4)
I love that he takes me to the store
I love that he mows the lawn so I can play in it
He’s nice to me
He tickles my armpits
He gives me lots of kisses and hugs
He wears handsome hats
I love him so much
Adalyn (Age 6)
He has a really good voice
I love that he cooks steak really well
He’s kind
He has really blue eyes
I love how he talks to us
He makes us feel better when we’re sad
He spends a lot of time with us

I think it’s pretty obvious – we’re a lucky little girl squad with this guy in our life. I’m keeping this post short and sweet, but I hope it inspires you to have your little ones share their favorite things about dad – it’s fun to see what brings them joy (i.e. he wears handsome hats).
